Dr Dana Kind

Chiropractor

Taking care of people is what gets Dr. Dana up in the morning. He loves talking with patients and being able to help them recover from injuries. He believes Chiropractic is the best way to help people to maintain their health and remain functioning at full speed.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Dana tried out a lot of different roles—from bar tender to police officer to home builder to Army intelligence officer. He actually spent 20 years in the military and credits all of these experiences for developing in him the ability to relate to anyone – a skill he uses every day in his practice.

Dana and his wife of 24 years moved south from Michigan, and he attended Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in South Carolina. After graduation they lived in Savannah and then relocated to Atlanta, where they’ve been almost 15 years. Their son recently completed Navy diver training and is currently serving in Guam.

When he’s not fixing his patients’ backs, Dr. Dana enjoys fixing up old houses. In grad school, he bought a condemned property, took it down to the studs, and redid everything. His latest projects involve rehabbing his yard and deck.
